1. Copilot Everywhere

Microsoft 365 Copilot continues to evolve with new features that make work more intuitive and intelligent:

  • Voice Commands: Users can now interact with Copilot hands-free, enabling real-time spoken responses for tasks like drafting emails or scheduling meetings.
  • Agent Mode in Office Apps: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint now include AI agents that can research, format, and edit content directly from chat conversations.
  • Copilot Business SKU: A new offering tailored for small and midsize businesses launches in December at $21 per user/month, making advanced AI accessible to more organizations.

2. Agent 365: Governance for AI Agents

  • Resiliency Agent for ransomware protection and business continuity
  • Troubleshooting Agent for root cause analysis across VMs and Kubernetes

This marks the beginning of Agentic Cloud Ops, where managing cloud infrastructure becomes a conversational experience.

4. Windows as the AI Canvas

Windows is evolving into a platform for AI-driven work:

  • Native Agent Infrastructure: Secure agent connectors and dedicated workspaces are now part of Windows.
  • Windows 365 for Agents: Enables agents to operate safely on Cloud PCs, extending flexibility and scalability for enterprise environments.

5. Work IQ and Foundry IQ

Microsoft introduced Work IQ, an intelligence layer that powers Copilot and agents by connecting organizational data, habits, and workflows. Combined with Foundry IQ and Fabric IQ, businesses gain a unified knowledge system for safer, smarter agent actions.
